Jethro International and the Memorable World Meeting of Civil Diplomats

 

Making History: The World Meeting of Jethro Civil Diplomats celebrates international connections, new business opportunities, humanitarian ideals, and the strengthening of Civil Diplomacy.

At the sea, from 7th to 16th May 2025, the event took place aboard the majestic cruise ship Costa Diadema, affectionately known as the Queen of the Mediterranean.

The ship boasts an extensive collection of artworks, with over 7,000 pieces created by 42 artists from various countries.

The event gathered Leaders, Directors, and Civil Diplomats to celebrate the advancement of Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy.

This article highlights the key moments of this unique event, as well as the global scope of this gathering.

 

The Welcome to the Jethro Civil Diplomats World Meeting – A Celebration of Alliances and Purposes

The Official Welcome Ceremony for the Civil Diplomats, led by Mrs. Helena Fonseca, was a beautiful and dignified event held aboard the ship.

The Civil Diplomats were welcomed with a clear vision: to transform this meeting into a platform for global business and alliances.

“On this unique cruise — which unites mobility, strategy, and fellowship — we bring together civic leaders and visionaries who excel in business and in building a new paradigm of international dialogue. The projects born from Civil Diplomacy are intelligent and sensitive responses to the realities around us. Today, we take another step forward on this path. This meeting is not only a celebration of ideals, it is a space for strategic connections, a setting for new alliances, collaborative projects, and the building of impactful networks. With these words, I hereby officially open the World Meeting of Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy. Welcome, everyone, and have a fantastic journey aboard!”

This moment also featured inspiring speeches by various Directors and Civil Diplomats:

Attendees were warmly welcomed with a musical performance by Nil Lus. There was also a poetic moment with recitations by poet José Geraldo.

Business Social Club Global: Strengthening Connections at Sea

Throughout the cruise, the Business Social Club (BSC) connected Civil Diplomats, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Founded by Mr. Ronan Horta, the BSC is an international networking ecosystem that fosters connections, accelerates business, and links influential individuals worldwide.

Ronan Horta, Founder and Expansion Director of Jethro International, is a seasoned business expert with more than 27 years’ experience in executive production and communication — connecting people, generating impact, and turning ideas into major achievements.

The  Business Social Club BSC meetings created a dynamic environment for networking and opportunity-building among Civil Diplomats and guests.

Also offered high-level experiences and real opportunities for expansion, based on ethics, innovation, and Civil Diplomacy.

Civil Diplomat George Niemeyer Launches His Book Adopt a Mentor

Civil Diplomat George Niemeyer presented Adopt a Mentor (Adote um Mentor) an inspiring guide for self-development and life’s journey.

The book invites readers to explore various life stages — from birth to old age — with the guidance of mentors.

Drawing on his own experiences and insights from other authors, Niemeyer offers simple, effective advice for young people to navigate life’s challenges.

Written in an accessible style, the book acts as a life “GPS”, warning of potential pitfalls along the way.

Published by Novo Século Editora, Adote um Mentor is available in both print and digital formats.

 

José Geraldo, National Director of Jethro in Portugal, releases the book Amor e Saudade

Love & Longing: Fado and Other Poems – Amor e Saudade: Fado e Outros Poemas. This poetry and fado collection touches the heart.

In this book, the author José Geraldo reflects on the pain of dreams, the hope of a seafaring people, the creative power of thought, and the universal experience of love — from fleeting romances to profound human connection.

Books by Civil Diplomats Emanuel Silva and Anderson Oliveira were also launched, enriching the cultural legacy of Jethro International.

 

Moments with the World President of Jethro

During the cruise, participants had the chance to engage with the World President of Civil Diplomat Jethro, who was aboard to share his vision for Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy worldwide.

He addressed key questions about Civil Diplomacy and provided guidance on the responsibilities and opportunities awaiting Civil Diplomats.

 

Exploring Beautiful European and UK Cities: Vigo, Le Havre, and Southampton

On board the luxurious Costa Diadema, international leaders and representatives enjoyed days of rich exchanges, celebrations, and memorable moments at sea — visiting iconic cities such as Vigo (Spain), Le Havre (France), and Southampton (England).

Vigo, Spain

A vibrant port city in Galicia, famed for its maritime traditions and natural beauty. Highlights include the historic Casco Vello, fresh seafood, and the legendary Battle of Rande (1702).

Le Havre, France

A symbol of resilience, rebuilt after WWII with modernist architecture now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Le Havre is a cultural hub with museums and access to Normandy’s dramatic coastline.

 

Southampton, United Kingdom

A city with a rich maritime heritage — from Roman times to the Titanic. Today, Southampton blends history with modern culture and serves as a major cruise hub with access to natural wonders like New Forest National Park.

Appointment of Jethro Expansion Directors

Strategic appointments also took place during the World Meeting of Humanitarian Civil Diplomats.

The event marked the appointment of new Jethro International Expansion Directors, enhancing the organisation’s work in sectors such as compliance, international relations, and culture.

This expansion aligns with the plan to consolidate Jethro’s presence in 193 countries.

Expansion Directors are tasked with supporting Civil Diplomats in their respective areas of activity.

Jethro International’s Martin Luther King Award Presentation

The event also featured the presentation of Jethro International’s Martin Luther King Award, delivered by the First Lady of Civil Diplomacy, Ambassador Mrs. Jennifer Freire.

The award honoured Mrs. Helena Fonseca — a woman whose light and humanitarian dedication inspire all.

Her remarkable career spans commodities, international finance, and human consciousness development.

Since founding the School of Ascension in 2007, she has dedicated her life to humanitarian service, working with vulnerable communities and leading _Associação Humanitária Pérola Humana_, an organisation offering innovative healthcare — completely free of charge.

Active in over 250 international humanitarian projects, Helena Fonseca is also the heart and soul of Jethro’s solemn ceremonies in Europe, where her grace and warmth make each event unforgettable.

With deep gratitude and emotion, the Martin Luther King Award was deservedly presented to Mrs Helena Fonseca.

 

In Kiel, Germany, Civil Diplomats Conclude Their Mission

The World Meeting of Civil Diplomats aboard the Costa Diadema will be remembered as a milestone in the growth of International Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy.

Through heartfelt connections, inspiring speeches, new books, and collaborative celebrations, each port visited witnessed the birth of a new era of cooperation and social transformation, driven by the power of Civil Diplomacy.

The journey concluded in Kiel, Deutschland, with remarkable success — in alliances forged, strategies shared, and objectives achieved.

Participants left with unforgettable memories and a renewed commitment to Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy.
