COPA S.O.S. FUTURO 2026 EMPOWERS YOUTH IN ANGOLA

Copa S.O.S. Futuro 2026 Diplomata Civil Cristiano Chizeca

Soccer, education, and solidarity unite Lunda-Norte

Copa S.O.S. Futuro 2026 will unite junior soccer, education, and community action in Lunda-Norte Province, Angola.

Humanitarian Civil Diplomat Cristiano Chizeca leads the first edition.

Chizeca also serves as Jethro International’s Director of Expansion in Strategy and Economic Development in Angola.

A competition with a social purpose

Eight junior teams will participate in a round-robin tournament at the Pavilhão Mussungue.

The regular phase is planned for September and October, with four matches per day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Meanwhile, November will focus on institutional preparation and coordination with partners.

The grand final is scheduled for November 28 and 29, alongside awards, entertainment, and a community solidarity action.

Technical guidance will be provided by Dr. Mateus Pensa, while Dr. Adriano Funete will oversee executive coordination.

Chizeca will lead the project’s general management and its Civil Diplomacy strategy.

Recognition that extends beyond trophies

However, the initiative goes far beyond the final score.

The organizers plan participation certificates for every athlete, together with medals and trophies for teams and outstanding contributors.

Special honors will recognize the champion, leading scorer, coach, goalkeeper, referee, and sports administrator.

These awards will celebrate performance, fair play, discipline, and collective effort.

Moreover, certificates and diplomas can strengthen each athlete’s portfolio for future academic and professional opportunities.

Scholarships create a lasting legacy

Copa S.O.S. Futuro 2026 also includes a university scholarship program for 50 athletes selected through a live talent identification process. The scholarships may support studies in Angola or abroad.

Therefore, soccer becomes a gateway to education, leadership, personal development, and stronger professional prospects.

This educational commitment forms one of the project’s most important long-term goals.

Cristiano Chizeca calls for international support

During a video message recorded at the planned competition site, Chizeca invites partners to join the initiative.

Social patrons, sponsors, institutions, and Civil Diplomats may support uniforms, shirts, caps, awards, certificates, or the scholarship program.

Direct material contributions must follow the project’s visual identity and established quality standards.

By connecting local needs with Jethro International’s global network, the project follows a clear principle: think globally and act locally.

Ultimately, the Copa seeks to turn sport into a practical bridge between solidarity, dignity, education, and hope for Lunda-Norte’s youth.
