Lauro Cassule and the Road Safety Anthem
Lauro Cassule is an active member of the Global Kuenda Tribe (TGK).
Which, in collaboration with Fátima Pereira da Silva, an international expert in traffic psychology, introduced the Global Road Safety Anthem to the public.
Composed and performed by Lauro Cassule (Cié), this musical piece, titled #MakeASafetyStatement, aims to engage younger generations through viral challenges on social media.
It also seeks to raise awareness of road safety through an official choreography.
Initially launched in English, the anthem will be translated into multiple languages to expand its global impact.
Furthermore, it aspires to set a World Record for the largest flash mob performing the official choreography.
Global Conference on Road Safety: A Worldwide Campaign for Safer Streets
In response to this urgent global issue, Mr. Jean Todt, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety, in collaboration with JCDecaux, with the support of Saatchi & Saatchi, launched a worldwide campaign under the motto Make a Safety Statement.
Over the next two years, from 2023 to 2025, this initiative will unfold across 80 countries and 1000 cities on billboards, bus shelters, and bike-share programs, with a strong presence on social media.
Make a Safety Statement represents a call to action, amplifying the #StreetsForLife global message of the New Decade of Action for Road Safety, aiming to halve the number of road-related victims by 2030.
Global Conference on Road Safety: Positive Reception from Experts
Presented to a select group of road safety experts and the personal assistance team of Jean Todt, the project received highly positive feedback.
