Ivory Coast: Civil Diplomat Kra Koffi Bio reaches people behind prison walls
In Ivory Coast, Civil Diplomat Kra Koffi Bio carried out a humanitarian aid to the Abidjan Detention and Correction Center (MACA).
During the action, he and his team visited the prison and delivered bread and boxes of mayonnaise, offering practical and spiritual support in a place marked by hardship and deprivation.
Based in Abidjan and originally from Tanda, Kra Koffi Bio is the Presidente and Founder of the Ministère International de Bethel Spirituel.
The gesture carries particular meaning given the reality of MACA. The prison is widely described as the largest detention facility in Côte d’Ivoire, with long-standing challenges linked to overcrowding, health conditions, and detention infrastructure.
In this context, the humanitarian mission led by Kra Koffi Bio reflects the values of Civil Humanitarian Diplomacy: to recognize human dignity, respond to urgent needs, and bring solidarity to places often forgotten by society.
This action in Abidjan stands as a reminder that humanitarian presence can also enter difficult spaces, carrying not only material aid, but also respect, compassion, and hope.
