In Lubango, the solidarity has a name and a face: João Cabeia

João Cabeia, Humanitarian Civil Diplomat of Jethro International, has dedicated his life to supporting those most in need at the capital of the Huíla Province, Angola.

Living within the very community he serves, João knows first-hand the challenges faced by local families.

With a small but committed team, he personally delivers food to households, walking through the streets and villages to ensure every parcel reaches the right hands.

His mission goes beyond fighting hunger. Each visit is also a moment for conversation, listening, and encouragement.

João believes that meeting people face to face and understanding their reality is an essential part of true humanitarian work.

The simple yet powerful gesture of offering food, carried out with respect and closeness, has transformed lives and brought hope to many families in Sumbe.

João Cabeia’s work is a moving example of how empathy, dedication, and practical action can make a tangible difference in a community’s daily life.
