Health outreach turns dialogue into practical solidarity

Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy through the work of Dr. Sweine Coelho, an International Humanitarian Civil Diplomat based in Luanda.

She is a physician and Occupational Medicine Specialist, combining her clinical expertise with a strong commitment to health, humanized care, and community well-being.

Through public communication and direct community service, Dr. Sweine Coelho connects health education with dignity, empathy, and social responsibility.

In June 2026, Dr. Sweine Coelho appeared on RTP África programmes Bem-Vindos and À Tarde no Kubico.

During these conversations, she spoke about her appointment as a Civil Diplomat and presented the humanitarian purpose of Jethro International.

She also addressed the importance of Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy in Africa. Her message emphasized dialogue, service, cooperation, and practical support for communities.

The Humanitarian Work far Beyond Television Studios

Through Projecto Vamos Falar Sobre Saúde (PVFSS), Dr. Coelho promotes free health consultations, educational talks, and humanized care for people who need support.

The project serves communities in Luanda, Caxito, Sequele, and other locations where assistance is requested. Its work brings health information and welcoming care closer to vulnerable populations.

Recently, the initiative distributed 250 breakfasts to people experiencing homelessness in Luanda. The action offered immediate support while reinforcing dignity, respect, and human connection.

Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy in Angola becomes more meaningful when public communication is joined by consistent local action. Dr. Sweine Coelho demonstrates this principle through service that informs, listens, and responds.

Dr. Coelho was invested as an International Humanitarian Civil Diplomat during a Jethro International Solemn Act held in Portugal.

Since then, she has helped expand awareness of the organisation’s humanitarian mission through health advocacy, community dialogue, and solidarity-based action.

Her example shows that Civil Diplomacy grows stronger when professionals use their knowledge to educate, care for others, and build bridges of hope across society.
